• Description: Provides a housing-first program that helps individuals experiencing homelessness with locating housing and rental assistance. This program provides rental assistance for up to 2 years. Individuals must comply with the program guidelines and be reviewed every 6 months to determine if they are eligible for additional assistance. Case managers regularly meet with clients to ensure they are meeting their goals. Also, the program provides referrals to other agencies to assist clients with finding work or continuing their education if that is something the client would like assistance with.Note: Currently, the program does not provide prevention services and does not pay any back rent.

• Eligibility: - 18 years and older, Serves individuals and families who are literally homeless, Must be homeless the night before enrollment in the program, Must have strong ties to the City of Huntington Beach (Ties can include residing in the city, working/going to school, having children enrolled in school, etc.)
• Requirements: Must bring documentation to show strong ties to Huntington Beach, Proof of homelessness, Proof of income/benefits (for all members that are 18 years and older), Bank statements of the last 3 months (for all members that are 18 years and older), Social Security card (for all household members), State ID/Drivers License (for all members that are 18 years and older); If individuals do not have access to this information at the time of intake or have additional questions, the information can be collected at a later time
